What Can You Do To Help

By joining  Friends of WCPD , you're joining a community of people who care deeply about our local parks and natural spaces. Your membership helps us support, improve, protect and preserve the parks that make Warren County such a special place to live and play. 

 Our mission is accomplished through the support of donations, fundraising events, and grant funding. By contributing, you join a community dedicated to advancing our parks through enhancements, development initiatives, and educational programs.

We are committed to supporting Little Free Libraries in our parks and ensuring they remain stocked with books for readers of all ages throughout Warren County. If you wish to donate books, please contact us to arrange a pickup or drop-off.

We are thrilled to be partnering with Warren County Park District and Warren County Kennel Club to bring you Armco Bark Park. This community-wide fundraiser will directly support the construction of the dog park, including secure fencing, agility equipment, shaded seating areas, and waste stations. 

Every penny that comes to the Friends of WCPD by way of Kroger Community Rewards program is funneled back into the park districts by supporting our conservation, recreational, and nature programs.

This program does not alter your gas points. 

Once you have achieved certification as a volunteer naturalist, we invite you to contribute your time with Warren County Parks to accumulate volunteer hours and become eligible to apply for our scholarship program, which provides an opportunity to receive financial awards.
